HOSPITAL MANAGEMENT.

Monthly Meeting of Board Members. The monthly meeting of the Strut Ecru Hosp.tai Board was held to-day, lucre were present: Messr.t T. R. Anderson (chairman), M. Gernhoefer, G. P. Haikness, J. D. Law, N. H. Moss, H. J. Marchant and MesCamcs D. .Shannon and M. T. I'hi'.lips. The Medical Superintendent, Dr. W. Brown, reported that the Matron, Mre J. Hunt left on annual leave on March 7. The hospital was viqiTS'''7>y Miss Moore, Nurse-Insp.ctor. Duilng the month of February 54 patients were admitted. The number of patients discharged was 48, died 1, remaining in hospital 33, out-patients attend'd 73, admissions to maternity ward 10, births 11., vislt|s ante-natal clinic 40. The Department of Health advised that it was desirable for the Board to make application to incur an overdraft in the first quarter of the existing financial y-ar, at all existing authorities for hospital boards to incur overdrafts on general account expired on March 31. The Board decided to defer the question of testing the borer in the hospital roof until consideration of the estimates. The Stratford Racing Club was granted the use of the ambulance for Saturday’s meeting.
