People’s Day At The A. & P. Show

CARNIVAL SPIRIT REIGNS AT SHOWGROUNDS.

SUCCESSMUL AND THRILLING RING EVENTS. Though showery overnight, the day broke fine and fair for People’s Day at the Autumn Show of the Stratford A. & P. Association. Though the attendance yesterday was not as good as was expected, when to-day’s events commenced everything pointed to a large crowd being present this afternoon.

The organisation of every event went off without a hitch a tribute to the solid work of the Association's executive officers under the leadership of their enthusiastic president, Mr. A. H. R. Amess, and their indefatigable secretary, Mr. W. F. Ross. The catering for both days, in the hands of a committee of energetic ladies, left nothing to be desired. Whether an Autumn Show becomes a regular feature or not, most people will agree that the A. and P. Association deserve every credit for their splendid work.
