HER TENNIS FUTURE

After her remarkable display against Miss Round in the final of the Palace tournament at Torquay, the lawn tennis world is discussing the future of Senorita Anita Lizana. It is being asked whether the mantle of Suzanne Lenglen has at last found an owner. The little Chilean champion, less self-conscious of her- talent than any modern player, has won 16 open tournaments here this year. She has not been defeated by any British player since May. Like Miss Marie Tempest, Senorita Lizana gives you time to appreciate the calibre of her guns before she unmasks and fires She has the confidence of the born artist. Pace with her nas become second nature. Perfect timing is her forte. \t Torquay she had in Miss Dorothy Round the necessary touchstone—a reciprocal competence that extracted her genius. She is planning to play on the Riviera in February, and will try for French championship in Paris before attaekinu Wimbledon next June. In rhe off season period she trains by danchp and skipping.
