Vatican*City, February 2.

The newspaper Osservatore Romano reports that since the beginning of the Sapnish conflict 11 bishops, and many priests, or between 40 and 50 per cent, of the entire Spanish clergy, have been murdered.

The assassination ratio in nine dioceses is 8 per cent., in Malaga 90 per cent. Almost ail the churches in 23 dioceses have been destroyed. .
