[Per United Press Association.] Wanganui, April 9. At a, sale of Hereford cattle held here to-day oii behalf of Mr G. F. Moore, ■ Kav-iwi, two-year heiiers averaged 97j.gns, yearling heifers SOgns, ■ heifer calves 31gns, yearling bulls 70gns, twoyear bulls 66gns, old bulls 25-i-gns, run bulls 22^gns. One yearling bull was sold for TOOOgns to Mr E, M. Hutchinson, of Gisborne, which is believed to be a record price for New Zealand. The imported bull Rufus was bought by Mr H. Campbell, Hawke's Bay. for 350gns. Royal Navy., a locally bred two-year-old; animal, was bought by Mr E. M. Hutchinson, Gisborne, for lOOOgns. Buyers were present from various parts of the Dominion.
