Mounted police charged and dispersed outside Westminster an excited procession of 2000 ex-soldiers and sailors, who marched from Whitehall to interview the Premier regarding the dismissal of ex-officers from Government factories. Sticks, stones and bottles were freely throAvn. The police used their batons. Fifty-five of the processionists were injured, and one Inspector.
