Ohristofturch, March 3. All ranks of the Uhristchurch police force were represented at a meeting today when a very strong demand was put forward for increased pay. A motion was carried asking that an allround increase of 4s per day be granted to .bring the lowest-paid men up to the pre-war standard of value. A copy of the resolution has been sent to the Commissioner of Police, and the Minister of Justice may also be approached.
