MR CHURCHILL'S VIEW.
A SYMPATHETIC ALLUSION
(Australian and N.Z. Cable Association and Router.)
(Received Feb. 25, 7.25 p'.m ) t., +i tt , Jb ondon» Feb. 25. in the House of Commons, replying to a. question, Mr Winston Churchill expressed the opinion that the Treaty arrangements regarding the reduction or the German Army are being generally adhered to but the whole subject, he said, had "to be watched daily by the Inter-Ahed Commission, headed by Marshal Foch. He was confident that the Commission would safeguard the full execution^of the Treaty. There had been hitherto no recalcitrant action on the part of the German Government, who were carrying out to the best of their ability a great many clauses which must be most obnoxious to them. '
