PLUNKET SOCIETY.
The mid-monthly meeting of the Plunket Society was held at the rooms, Hardy street, on Monday afternoon, I Mrs Buchanan (president) in'tjie qhair. Mrs Cock received a very hearty welcome on her return from a visit to Australia. The Plunket nurse, having recovered from her recent illness, and resumed her duties, will now make use of the car, which is proving most satisfactory in every respect. It was resolved most gratefully to accept Mrs T. Dee's oiler to organise an exhibition •of her pupils' needlework in aid of the society and to hold stalls for the sale of work' cakes, and produce, in addition to the afternoon tea and other attractions so kindly provided by her. The exhibition will be held aJbout March 24th, and contributions towards the stalls will be gratefully received by members of the committee and the Plunket nurse.
