Messrs Burbidge &fc\ Son report as follows on tho WeUvngton fruit and produce market: — \ There was an improved market for tomatoes to-day: half dumpSi 7s 7d, Nelson cases 10s to 12s. Peaches and ph.ms are also in better request, eggs are 'scarce and dear, pork is wanted, also butter.
Apples: Worcesters 7s to 8s 6d, CoxY Orange, best size 7s to 8s 6d, small, ssj t j <ss, Ribstones 5s to 6s 6d. i Pears: Williams 5s to 6s 6d, Bonne Jersey 5s to 6s, others 4s 3d to 5s 3d, Alfristons 4s to 5s 3d, Munroes, large, 4s 6d to ss, smaller 3s 6d—all bushel cases. Tomatoes: Nelson 8s 6d to 10s 3d, Half dumps 7s to Bs. Plums: October Purples 7s to 7s 6d. Peaches: dessert 4s to 5s 6d, small, 3s 3d to 4s. . Nectarines 4s to 5s 9d. Cape Gooseberries: 5s to 6s per half case.
