A STEAMER MANNED.

(Received Feb. 22 3 5.5 n.m.)

Sydney. Feb

The latest development in the shipping strike is that the steamer Mataram left port with a full cargo and passengers for Singapore. The move was so well covered that the executive of the Engineers' Institute do not know where the engineers were obtained. It is believed that the men aceeoted the terms offered by the interstate companies at the beginning of the strike. It is understood that the Montoro will sail within a few days.
