There lias 'been recently a revival of the Jutland Ba.ttle controversy, owing to Commander Bellairs's book" thereon passing strictures upon Lord Jellieoe's tactics, which the hook declares lost a chance of annihilating the enemy. The author considers that the official account of the battle should be published in order to show whether Lord Jellieoe lost a chance through ignoring Lord Beatty's signal urging Lord Jellieoe to follow him and close with the enemy.
Mr Long, First Lord of the Admiralty, stated in the H'<mse of Commons to-day that the official account of the Jutland Battle would lie published in about ii month, with Yon Scheer's account added.
Mr Lone said that Lord Jellieoe had not reported to the Admiralty on the naval defence cf the "Rmr>iresrenerally, which was a matter for the Admiralty!
