Mr R. Catley, who recently resigned the secretaryship of the Nelson Acclimatisation Society, which he had held for thirteen years, was presented by tn© council of the society and local sportsmen with a ease of pipes as a mark or their osteem. Mr H. B. Walker made th* presentation, which was- suitably, acknowledged by the recipient.
