Bowling analysis: Lucas, 5 for 152; Whitty. 1 for 95; Williams, 3 for 138; Richardson, 1 for 5. South Australia in the first innings have lost six wickets for 128—Rundell 58, Richardson 28. A fast and true wicket and the weakness of th* attack were responsible for tie giant t scoring, which was brilliant ana rapid.
