Mr Palmer Attorney-General, announces tnat the Big Five packing interests have consented to sell all their holdings in public stockyards, railroads, tho stock market, newspapers, and public cold storage warehouses, and for ever dissociate themselves from the retail meat business and th© ■wholesale grocery and canning business. The packers have eubmitted. to the Governments injunction forbidding monopolisation ot food products in the United States. The concerns affected are Armour, Morris, Swift, Wilson, and Cudahy and the main subsidiary companies.
