(Received Dec. 21, 5.5 p.m.) Washington, Dec. 20. In the Senate, Senator Knox introduced a resolution declaring peace with ' Germany and retaining on the United States' behalf the' material benefits of the Versailles. Treaty, and approving of any practical plan for an international peace league. The resolution was referred to the Foreign Relations Committee. Tho Democrats indicated their oppo- ; sition. !
