HOLIDAY ARRANGEMENTS
Christmas Day, Thursday, 25th Decem-

Post Office. —Will observe a close holiday. Mails usually despatched on Thursday will close 8 p.m. on Wednesday, 34th iust. .All receiving boxes will Uc cle-aieu at o p.m. ou fciie 24th iust. There will bo no postmen's delivery on the 2oth December, but a delivery of town letters (registered as well as ordinary) will be made over the counter from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. on 24th inst.
Private bos lobby—Will be open as on tsurijays, viz., 9.29 a.m. to 5.30 p.m. leieg:apii Office. —The Central Telegraph Omce will be from 10 a.m. to iO.iiU a.m. and from 5 p.m. to 5.30 p.m. Entrance will.be at the side door, Halifax street. Post Office. —All Post Offices will open in all branches, except Money-order and Savings-bank, from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. The usual despatch of mails will be made up to 8 a.m. Mails usually closed after S a.m. will close at that hour. Tho postmen will make one com* plete delivery, commencing at 7.30 a.m.

Telegraph Office.—All telegraph and telephone officers will open from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. The -central office will be open from 9 a.m. to noon and 7 p.m. to midnight. Entrance after 10 a.m. will be at the sido door. Telephone Exchange.—The Central Telephone Exchange will be open from 6 a.m. to midnight as usual.
