Dunedin, Dec. 3 At the Police Court, David McNeil *was charged with failing to withdraw Robert \\ liliam Sm* h from an unsaf' place in tne Brighton coalmine. .VI r ■ViacGi'ogor, K.C., who prosecuted said that tlie defendant was manager o the mine, and Smith was killed by a i"al of strnT.
