Values for apples remain practically' the same as last week. IU-uriy sumo fruits continue to sell well. Prices for green peas have receded. Tomatoes are more plentiful with payable rates obtaining. .Prices to-day were as follows:— Apples, choice Stunners, 14s to l(Js; Doughertv 13s to 15s, Delicious 15s to 18s peujjushol. Tomatoes 20s to -His per hall'case. Persian plums ,8s 6d to 9s. Cherries (New South Wales) 12s to 14s peu'box of 12ib. Gooseberries 5s 6d to 7s 6d per-half case. Green yeas Is 2d to I^fid per peek. Strawberries, Auckland Is 4d to 2s, Nelson and Motueka grown lOd to ]s 2rl per punnet. French beans Is 2d to Is 4cl per I'b. Rhubarb 7s to 8s pc rdozen bundles. Asparagus 12s to per dozen bundles. Asparagus 12s to IGs cwt, old 9s to 10s per cut. Onions 28s cwfc. All vegetables plentiful.
