Rome, Nov. 23. An official communique dealing with the Zara raid, promises the fullest precautions to prevent further d'Annunzio raids.

'Hie Government repudiates Admiral JMillio, whose support of d'Annunzio caused surprise and a shock. It adds that it appeal's the army and navy arc very restless owing to a groundless rumour that Zara was to be ceded in exchougG for Fiume.

Leading newspapers denounce the Zara and Milan exploits. According to a message from Trieste d'Annunzio is making ' wholesale arrests of Jug(*-Slavs as hostages for the good behaviour of the inhabitants and tt'Anminzio's personal safety. Semi-official information" indicates th«_t the Adriatic situation is becoming eriiTeal. It is reported that d'Annunzio aims at the liberation of Montenegro from the Jugo-Slavs, besides the annexation of Dalmatia. He is also intriguing against the present Italian Government.
