The "National News" states that the Admiralty is considering appointing an expert committee to investigate warship construction owing to a conviction that developments in aircraft and submarines necessitate striking departures from pre-war standards in the construction of big warships. Some experts endorse Lord Fisher's and Sir Percy Scott's view that big warships are becoming obsolete_ owing to their vulnerability from aerial and submarine attack.
