South Africa, in their second innings scored 359. The Australians won hy, eight wickets. Ward made 62, not out, in South Africa's second innings. Blacken'burg captured two Australian -wickets for 11 runs. It has been arranged to play a second test match at Johannesburg, commencing on Friday.
