Kokitika, Nov. 26. Mr. T. E. Y. Seddon, M.P., the Liberal candidate for Westlancl, addressed a large and orderly meeting at the Princess Theatre last night, the Mayor presiding. The address was attentively listened to, and only a couple of questions were asked. Mr." Wild, chairman of the Harbour Board, moved: "That this meetino- of electors of Westlancl tenders Captain Seddon its best thanks for his wide and valued services to the Empire and the Dominion in connection with the war, and accords him an assurance that he is considered a very fit and proper person to continue in Parliament as representative of Westland." Mr. Duff, county chairman, seconded the motion, which" was carried without a dissentient voice. Mr. Seddon was afterwards entertained at a social which was attended by a large number of people, and left to-day on a week's campaign in South Westland.
