Before Mi". Justice Stringer and Mr. MeCuJlougU, APPEAL CASE. Samuel Tyson, Inspector of Awards, appealed against the decision of Mr. J. S. Evans, S.M., in the case in Avhich Stephen Andrew Tillcy and other members of the North Cave Coalminers' Union were charged with being parties to a strike The Magistrate dismissed the information in the lower Court on the grounds that the agreement was for three years and one day, Avhcreas •the Act provided that the term should not exceed three years. Tho grounds of appeal Avere that tho Magistrate Avas wrong in his finding. Mr. C. R. Fell appeared for the appellant and Mr. J. P. Hayes for the respondents. After healing legal argument His Honour reserved His decision.
