Wellington, July 29. Discussing New Zealand's position in regard to prico-fixng, the Hon. W. D. S. MaeDomikl said there was an impression abroad that the Board of Trade was the price-fixing authority in the Dominion. ''This is incorrect," said Mr Mac Donald. "Their functions end in making recommendations to me. There is under consideration important amending legislation conferring great powers on the board. The whole transactions of the board will he laid before Parliament shortly, and the public will see that a very useful amount of work has beeix accomplished."
