HAYWARD'S PICTURES.
June Elvidge is the star of the World drama to be-screened to-night &i Hayward's entitled "Broken Ties.". Montagu Love 'and Arthur Ashley have prominent parts, the former as the husband who foolishly neglects his wife anr! the latter as the man who threatens* to take his-place. June Elvidge', as the wife, is a,s charming as ever, "i'li'j wife unwise ly goes to a private party with the otter man, in a spirit * or rebelliousness against (her thusband's ooolness. A murder occurs, and the other man is arrested. To prove an alibi ho would have to betray, the wife, whi!° -ho in turn is convinced through>erfcru circumstances that her husband s mother is the guilty party. The situaowas are remarkably dramatic.
