A MILD TYPE.
Auckland, April 14. The-actual number of patients from the Niagara under treatment at Motuihi is now officially stated as 46. Five others are under observation and about twenty are being detained: as contacts;"'-' One patient whose condition -was..causing;anxiety is now.improvJhg, i and the remainder are making excellent progress. The general type of the disease is described as mild, "and not comparable with the epidemic of November. It was anticipated that the through passengers would be : brought to -Auckland to-day. Two cases of high temperature^ were reported, how-ever,-this morning, and they were consequently not brought. ■.
