C Bates reports: Present indiications are for ihgh easterly and southeasterly winds northward of New Plymouth and Napier, and increasing by northerlies backing to southerlies soon; southward a change to cloudy and unsettled weather is. probable, with rain and colder conditions following generally. Barometer will fall, but is rising everywhere shortly.
