We report the market dull for apples and pears, with the exception of best Winter Cole and Marie Louise. Oape gooseberries are in demand, and eggs and butter are scarce with prices higher. Current values:
Apples: Cox's Orange 6 6d to Bs, Jonathan's 6d to 7s, other dessert 4s to 6s,*Golden Eusset~ss 6d to 7s 6d, Brownlie 4s 6d to 5s 9d, Alfristons 4& 3d to ss, Munroe's Favourite 4s 6d to 5s 6d.
Pears: Winter Cole 7s 6d to 10s 6d, Marie Louise 7s to 9s, Bishop's Thumb os 6d to 7s 6d, Vicar of Winkfield 6s to 7s per bushel case. ' Quinces 7s to 8s per bushel case.
