The League kppeals to every British subject for continued confidence in and support of, our SEA SERVICES' which, in the fulfilment of the task entrusted to them, will prove the determining factor,in dictating terms of peace and liberating mankind from the aggression of Prussian Caesarism. The Navy League has decided that its future policy shall be directed towards the achievement of the following objects:— 1. The disseminationamong the-peo-ples of the Empire and British, subjects in all parts of the world, of exact knowledge upon the projvision and use of Sea Power as the keystone of British National and Imperial Policy. : 2. The advocacy of an all-powerful Navy, Air Force and Mercantile Marine as the factors essential for the security of the Empire and the restoration of Britain to her rightful position as Mistress of the Seas. .■ 3. The immediate reconstruction of our Mercantile tottnage to at least the pre-War standard before any foreign orders for the building of merchant ships are executed, and the demand that there shall be no transfer of British shipping: to foreign owners or Flags until Brit- * ish mercantile supremacy shall have been restored. 4. The application of steady pressure upon Parliament and the Government, through the education of public opinion, for closer co-ordin-ation between the Royal Navy and the Mercantile Marine with a view to the exigencies of War. 5. The support of all just claims of officers and men of the Royal Navy with regard to-pay, pensions and Prize Money. v 6. The stimulation of interest among the teachers, and children of all classes of schools in the Empire, in the Sea and Air Services as (!r.minant factors in Imperial exist- ■ .cc and prosperity. 7. T. o extension of the Boys' Naval .brigade Movement and the establishment of proper training institutions with a view to the preparation of boys for a sea career whenever possib'3, for the elimin- . ation of aliens from the British Mercantile Marine. 8. The administration of the funds provided at the instance of the League at Home and Overseas for the relief of the dependents of the men of the Sea Services who have lost their lives in the War, and for the education and apprenticeship of their children.
