DAVIES-ERIGKSEN
A quiet wedding of much interest to JNelson residents was solemnised at the Methodist Church, Masterton, on April 2nd, when Cpl. Ralph Gladstone.Davies, youngest son of Mr ana Mrs E. B. Davies,,Dovedale, Nelson, was united, by the Rev. J. A. Hosking, in the holy bonds of matrimony to Miss Ruby Eva Encksen, third daughter of Mr C. Ericksen, Mauriceville, Wairarapa. The bride, who entered the church on the arm of her brother, Mr J. Ericksen, was'at-: tended by Miss Pearl Ericksen (sister) and Miss Gertie Morris, while "the duties of best man were.carried out by Lance-<-<pl. Grant. , After the ceremony the "appy couple and guests were entertained by Mrs H. T. Wood at her residence, Victoria street, Masterton. The bride and bridegroom left by train for Napier prior to their leaving for the Nelson district, where Cpl.'Davies intends to o- 0 in" for farming.
