The Australian Press Association understands that desertions from the Bolshevik forces in North Russia are increasing, and also that arms and material are deficient. The Petrograd garrison is disaffected, and eyen the Chinese, on whom the Bolsheviki mainly relied, are insubordinate and' complaining of insufficient food.
