BOLSHEVISTS MUST BE CRUSHED.

(Australian and N.Z. Cable Association,

(Received March. 18, 7.10 p.m.)

London, March 14.

The "Daily Express's" Berlin correspondent states that Hoffmann, Hindenburg's chief of staff, was interviewed, and stated that unless the Russian Bolsheviki were crushed the Entente's triumph would be sterile. Bolshevism must be crushed, forcibly, and the position required a large Entente army, marching shoulder to shoulder with a German army. This must be Hone soon, otherwise the next war would be between the Entente and Bolshevism in order to rescue European civilisation.
