A Wellington Press Association message states that news has been received in Wellington that General Freybere has received two bars to the D'.S O and the French'Croix de Guerre with palm leaves. Mr Moses Ayrton will contest the Palmerston North .seat against the sitting member, Mr J. A. Nash, at the forthcoming election.
