POULTRYMEN'S GRIEVANCES

Before tho Board of Trade left for Blenheim yesterday morning, a deputation representing the Nelson Egg Circle met Mr W. G. Maedonald, bein<v introduced by Mr T. A. H. I'leld, m!>. The position ot egg-producers and the price of foodstuffs was placed before Mr McDonald by Messrs F. Lock, A. Robinson, and W. Liddle. Mr McDonald expressed sympathy with the local poultrymen, and indicated the steps that should bo taken to relieve the situation.
