The troops escaped from the sinking transport in Eoboken harbour in their night clothes. It is said that the ship was undergoing repairs, but there is little doubt of an enemy plot. Three decks are now above water, and the keel is resting in the mud. Details ol: the occurrence are withheld. Troops are guarding the vessel.

A gang of machinists were working when the accident occurred. It is announced that there was no loss of We, though 300 troops were on board.
