Arrangements have been made by' the Mayor (Mr W. W. Snodgrass), in his capacity as President of the Nelson Sick and "Wounded Soldiers'. Fund Society, to meet the returning soldiers,, and cars for t&e men are being, provided by Messrs Snodgrass, W. E. Wilkes (Mayor of Richmond), T. A. H. Field, M.P., A. J. CUa&gow, and Newman Bros.
As* this'is the first occasion on. which a draft of wounded men has returned to Nelson "during the daytime, no doubt many people will take the opportunity of assembling at the wharf and giving: the men a cordial welcome home.
