London, Sept. 15. Sir Douglas Haig reports :— of St. Qtfentin we further progressed yesterday, and at night, and also southward and northward of Holnon Wood. ' We repulsed both hostile attacks in the Trescault and La Bassee sectors. The hostile artillery was active at night time in the Roiscl, Moeuvres, Marquion. and Givonchy sectors, and with gas shells north-westward of Armentieres.
