A meeting of the Pcloras Hack Itac-" ing Club was held at Canvastown on ', Lhe 7th inst, and there was a full at-: tendance of members. . • After considering the result of the■' 'successful meeting which was held last. _ise\i Year's Day, it was decided that the stakes for the forthcoming meeting, to be held' on- January Ist, 1919, be increased. . It was reported that a record nrmber of entries had been recived at tho last meeting, and the Ivope was expressed that the same liberal support would be again given at; the forthcoming mooting,"which^is' one of the most popular gatherings of the district;.
