'THE IRON RjNG/' A story of matrimonial complications is unfolded in ''The Iron Ring," the startling drama'to. be screen ed at the Theatre Royal to-night. The cast is particularly strong, including Gerda Holmes, Edward Langford,, Ashley, and two new screen ladies, Alexandria Ca-rcwe and* Gladys Thompson. The opening of the drama introduces a young married couple who are wrapped up in each other. Tho hu-sband, however, gets his opportunity in life, and gains a partnership in a large business. Fired with ambition, he works morning and night, and consequently leaves his wiie^ to her own resources a good deal. 'Next door is a giddy wonisvn who lives for men's flattery and adulation, and soon there is hitler trouble. The story js increased in iutorest by the love affair of a sgciety girl who becomes infatuated with the married rurgeon who attends hoi after an accident? The motor accident, by the way, is most realistic. Tho girl's brolber Lakes drastic steps to ensure* his sister's 'safety. Tho ending is a happy one, and the wholo pia* wholesome aud earnest in tone. The settings are lavish in the-extreme, and the^ scenes of New York hfe are splendid: A series of pictures support the above feature, including the most thrilling chapter of "The Iron Claw."
