HIGH COMMISSIONER'S REPORT
l'lie Department of Agriculture, Industries, and Gommerce has received the following cable, dated London, March 16th, fjoin the High Commissioner for Neu Zealand :—
Meat: Available quantity not large, but on account of rations present supplies meet requirements'; Supplies consist chiefly of New Zealand iamb, Canadian beef, and English calves, all at maximum prices. English mutton and beef small supply. \ " ; f ; Butter and Cheese: No change since last report; small supply selling at maximum prices. . „ Hemp: Manila hemp, superior grade is in demand, early delivery.
