_ Wellington, March 20. Hydro-electric grower was a subject 01 discussion at tbe annual meeting of the Industrial Corporation of New Zealand to-day. Mr Joll (Auckland) formally moved, this meeting of the New Zealand Industrial Corporation is of opinion that steps should be taken to urge the Government to do all in its power to bring all. parts of the Dominion into line with Canterbury by developing a hydro-electric scheme for power light and heat." '

Mr W. Ferguson (chairman of the National Efficiency Board) suggested that the meeting consult the Government expert. This course was adopted, and the discussion was adjourned.
