CONGESTION OF ENEMY TROOPS !N FLANDERS
ENTENTE STATEMENT ON THE RUSSIAN SITUATION.
The centre of activity on the .West f^oat has shifted to the Meuse, where there is a heavy artillery duel and frequent local lighting with considerable forces. The French are/-masters'.of the situation. Large German conxjentrationh are reported in Flinders. It is stated that the Germans are preparing for aa offensive against Salonika. An Entente war conference held in London has issued a. statement on tha Russian situation, declaring the Allies' refusal to recognise any peace treaties entered into by Hussia or Roumania.
