The Press Bureau reports that aeroplanes crossed the East Coast at 11 o'clock on. Thursday evening and proceeded towards London.
TEe raid is in progress.
Last night's air raid surprised London, marking a new enemy departure by -utilising aeroplanes on a moonless night.
