Christchurch, Iftarch 9. A petition that Mr J. McUombs, M.P., be adjudged bankrupt, has been filed in the Supreme Couit. The petitioning creditors are Kiru-aids Ltd. and Bowron Bros., Ltd., and the ground.of the petition is that McCombs has committed an act of bankruptcy, a distress warrant having been-esecuteri on him and returned "Nolla bona.''
