POLLING DAY TO-MORIIUW

The election of five members to sei've on the Nelson Licensing Committee for the next three years will take place tomorrow. Ten candidates-have been nominated, five of whom are straight-out Prohibitionists, viz., Messrs Carlisle, Holdaway, Mears. Watson, and Pettit. The ''Moderate" ticket consists of three —Messrs Bartlett, Best, and Camiv The other candidates are Messrs VV. G.. Burton and T. S. Edwards. Mr Edwards addresses the electors per medium of ah advertisement in. this issue, and adver* tisemehts regarding those teandidates who are being run on the respective tickets also appear.
