„ V Auckland, March 7. Ncavs from Fiji reports Heavy rains early in February at Ba. .Nineteen niches fell in 24 hours. All tho "cane lands were flooded, and some Indians were drowned. At Kadavin a. tidal wave swept the west coast. It was about' 12ft high, and caused considerable damage to 16 houses, but there was no loss of life.
