LOSSES IN THE IRISH CHANNEL.

In the House of Lords, Lord Lytton, replying to Lord Beresford, stated that the shipping losses in the Irish Channel had been greater in 1918 than in any previous period of war. The Government would shortly announce the true position in connection with shipbuilding.
