'•■'■ puncdin, March 6. At the Methodist Conference there was presented the' report of tiio Wellington Methodist Educational Trust. The value of the trust is £13.549. The trustees reported having bought land at ', Mastorton for £1721 for an orphanage. The Conference recommended suspending building pending the obtaining of new site. The Trust is to be, advised to secure a temporary building in or about Masterton to start an orphanage. Of £1500 to he raised tor foreign missions, £900 was allocated to the General Fund, £30a to the .New Zealand workj ing capital of the fund, and the balance to the suspense account ? to be used by the Australian Board, after approval by the New Zealand Foreign Mission Executive.
It was reported that a valuable property in Auckland had been donated for the benefit of a mission. This property is at present let for £3 a "week. The donor also gaive £200 to cover the cost of its transfer.
It was resolved that- a great effort to raise money for foreign missions be inaugurated by special meetings for prayer in all circuits and home mission stations. .
The following proposed stationings are in the second reading of stations: Nelson, Rev. E. D. Patchett; Itiehmond, Rev. Mr. Wills ; Motueka, Rev. Mr.. Nicholls.
