London, March 5
A French communique says: There is fairly violent artillery activity on the right bank of the Meuse in the region of Caurieres and Chaume Woods, where a German attack was repulsed after a lively contest.
An enemy attack at Chevaliers "Woods was completely checked.
A German raid on American trenches in Lorraine was repulsed. American patrols took prisoners.
